- Guides are currently not permitted inside Hagia Sophia. Your guide will explain the history and significance of Hagia Sophia from outside. Afterward, you can enter independently using your included skip-the-line ticket and audio guide app.
- The included Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern tickets allow you to skip the ticket lines. However, security lines cannot be skipped. During high season, the security line at Hagia Sophia may take up to 60 minutes, while the security check at the Basilica Cistern may take up to 30 minutes.
- The included Hagia Sophia ticket provides access to the Visiting Area and Upper Gallery. It does not provide access to the prayer area.
- Visitors must wear clothing that covers their knees. If you are wearing shorts, a body cover can be purchased for 100 TRY.
Important information
Skip-the-line access applies to the ticket lines at Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. Security checks are mandatory and cannot be skipped.
During high season, the security line at Hagia Sophia may take up to 60 minutes, while the security check at the Basilica Cistern may take up to 30 minutes.

The Hagia Sophia ticket provides access to the Visiting Area and Upper Gallery only; access to the prayer area is not included.
The Blue Mosque is an active place of worship. Visiting times may be affected by daily prayers, Friday prayers, religious events or other official arrangements.
Visitors must wear appropriate clothing when entering the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Knees must be covered, and additional body covers or scarves may need to be purchased if required.
Please arrive at the meeting point before the confirmed departure time. Late arrivals may miss the tour.
